LifeLog 0.303.2

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Nov 19:20

Changed

  • Habit grids have smaller cells (at most 22px) spread across the card, faint lines between the days, and a ring around today's cell. The day letters are centred, so M and W line up with the rest.

Removed

  • The thin "week met" bar on weekly goals. Over or under the grid it looked like a row of cut-off cells and made those cards taller than the rest; the streak and Insights still say which weeks were met.

Installing: open this page on your phone, tap LifeLog.apk, and allow your browser to install apps the first time it asks. Updates install over the top and keep your data.

iPhone: LifeLog.ipa is added here a few minutes later. It's unsigned: install it with AltStore or SideStore, which sign it with your own Apple ID.

Fixed

  • A long goal button ("1h15 of 3 hours this week") spilled out of its border beside the time buttons. It now reads "1h15 of 3h", since the line under the name already says "3 hours a week", and the row wraps if it still doesn't fit.
  • On a weekly goal, the bars that mark a met week sat on top of the grid and looked like a row of squares cut off. They're under the grid now.

Changed

  • A habit card's buttons sit under its grid, above Insights, and the grid fills the card's width. A timed habit's goal and its +15m / +30m / +1h buttons share one row.
  • The best run and kept rate moved from under the name to the Insights line.

Fixed

  • A habit done several times a day showed its count twice on the button ("2 2 of 3"); it reads "2 of 3". Goal buttons are one size of text, so "0 of 3 this week" is centred.

Added

  • Settings → Appearance → Dates: choose which day the week starts on (Sunday, Monday or Saturday) and how dates are written (3 Nov 2026, Nov 3 2026, 03/11/2026, 11/03/2026 or 2026-11-03). Both sync to every device.
  • The week start moves weekly habit goals, the habit grid's columns and rows, the Timeline calendar, the weekday choices in the habit and recurring-charge forms, and the widgets. A Saturday week makes the weekend Friday and Saturday.
  • Every date the app shows follows the chosen format: Timeline, Backlog, Ledger, Habits, Notes, Boards, Travel, Recap, Search, History and the widgets.

Changed

  • The keyboard shortcuts hint at the foot of Settings shows only on a computer, and pressing ? there now opens the list.

Removed

  • The version line at the foot of Settings. It's on Settings → About.

Changed

Added

  • Goals on habits: a target counted over a week, a month or a year ("Workout, 3 times a week", on any days), or in minutes ("1 hour a day on a project"). A goal's streak counts weeks, months or years in a row, and the time sheet, the +15, +30 and +1 h buttons, and the grid record minutes.
  • Left to do at the top of Habits, in place of the "3 of 6 today" line: what's still open today, this week, this month and this year, how much each needs, and a button that does the next bit.
  • The habits widget shows weekly goals and timed habits ("2 more this week", "35 min left") and says how many are left. On Android its settings add "Only what's still left". On iPhone what's left comes first.
  • Bridge: lifelog_add_habit takes period and unit, lifelog_mark_habit takes add (e.g. 30 minutes), and the new lifelog_habits_left lists what's still to do.

Changed

  • Habit reminders for a weekly, monthly or yearly goal stop once the period's target is met.

Added

  • Test builds in Settings → About: try a change before it's released.
On Android, Install puts it over the LifeLog you have and keeps your
data; in a browser, Open runs it in place with a bar at the top to get
back; on iPhone, Get it opens the build's page for AltStore or SideStore.
Back to the release puts the released version back. A test build
syncs with your data like the release does, so Settings → History → Undo
takes back anything it gets wrong.

Added

  • Backlog items remember where you stopped. Moving something from In
    progress back to the Backlog always kept its episode or chapter count;
now the Backlog row shows it too ("Ep 7", "Ch 12"), in every row layout
and in a cover's hover details, wherever the category counts episodes.

Added

  • Images in notes. Add image under a note's text, or paste or drop a
picture into it. Each one sits on its own line where you put it, shows in
the note's card and full width when you read it, and has a thumbnail with
× in the sheet to take it out. A big photo is shrunk to 1600px first.
  • Obsidian notes keep their pictures. Import Markdown files with their
images, or pick the whole folder, and each ![[photo.png]] or
![](attachments/photo.png) comes in with the note. A picture that wasn't
among the files shows as a dashed line naming it, and the toast's Find
    in folder
fills those in from a folder you point it at. On Android the
    folder picker brings images too.
  • Clean up images in Settings → Notebook removes the ones no note
    shows any more.
  • The AI bridge can see a note's images (lifelog_note_images) and add one
    (lifelog_add_note_image).

Changed

  • Images live on GitHub in your data repo, on a branch of their own
(lifelog-images), never inside lifelog.json: a save still uploads only
your notes, and each image is uploaded once, before the note that shows
it. They're kept on each device after first view, so they show offline.
  • An image on a web address in a note isn't loaded: it shows as a link, so
reading a note doesn't tell another site you did.

Installing: open this page on your phone, tap LifeLog.apk, and allow your browser to install apps the first time it asks. Updates install over the top and keep your data.
