Added
- Images in notes. Add image under a note's text, or paste or drop a
picture into it. Each one sits on its own line where you put it, shows in
the note's card and full width when you read it, and has a thumbnail with
× in the sheet to take it out. A big photo is shrunk to 1600px first. - Obsidian notes keep their pictures. Import Markdown files with their
images, or pick the whole folder, and each![[photo.png]]or
comes in with the note. A picture that wasn't
among the files shows as a dashed line naming it, and the toast's Find
in folder fills those in from a folder you point it at. On Android the
folder picker brings images too. - Clean up images in Settings → Notebook removes the ones no note
shows any more. - The AI bridge can see a note's images (
lifelog_note_images) and add one
(lifelog_add_note_image).
Changed
- Images live on GitHub in your data repo, on a branch of their own
(lifelog-images), never inside lifelog.json: a save still uploads only
your notes, and each image is uploaded once, before the note that shows
it. They're kept on each device after first view, so they show offline. - An image on a web address in a note isn't loaded: it shows as a link, so
reading a note doesn't tell another site you did.
Installing: open this page on your phone, tap LifeLog.apk, and allow your browser to install apps the first time it asks. Updates install over the top and keep your data.
iPhone: LifeLog.ipa is added here a few minutes later. It's unsigned: install it with AltStore or SideStore, which sign it with your own Apple ID.
