The tooling deamon is never ready to run tools such as hot reload in Cursor

I'm trying to use DTD tools, but the tooling deamon is never ready.

1. Cloned latest version of the repository.
2. Run an app for web (chrome) in terminal with flutter run.
3. Compiled dart tooling MCP server to main.exe and set it up at cursor:

This works for tools such as dart_fix, however, when used for any of the DTD tools, the tooling deamon is never ready.

I can successfully hot reload or get the widget tree within terminal that runs 'flutter run'.

Oh actually, looking a bit more I see you are running with flutter run - right now we require you to run your app from the IDE and then copy the DTD Uri from there. Can you try that?

The dart tooling daemon doesn't list the debug sessions when running standalone - basically we sit there waiting for the IDE to connect to DTD and list the debug sessions but it never happens.

We do plan on resolving this and have a design doc for it but its going to take a little bit.

@jakemac53 That's correct I used flutter run outside of IDE.

I now also tried to use the Cursor's integrated flow, but I get the same issue.
I pulled the latest version of the repository and recompiled main.exe.

Here is my run config (launch.json):

@akvus Ah so this is confusing, but we have a lot of different services involved and it looks like you are passing the debug service URI instead of the Dart tooling daemon URI.

You can only get the dart tooling daemon URI from the extension, using the "Copy DTD URI to clipboard" quick action (cmd/ctrl->shift->p then search for it).

We probably need to work on somehow recognizing that you are not connected to the right kind of service and providing good errors here.
