Code blocks are indistinguishable on alternate table rows

Code blocks and every 2nd table row use the same background color, making code blocks hard to distinguish from non-code text.

It does seem like GitHub has the same issue, but I still think it's worth improving. Perhaps through an outline, a darker grey background when on a table, I'm not sure.

Might be worth trying to find other sites with striped row tables and code blocks to see what they do.
