According to our knowledge, all the datasets in the field of drug recommendation are focused only on patient' reviews, and the characteristics of patients and drugs are not considered. Therefore, we seek to improve drug recommendation by considering the features of drugs and patients in a new dataset, which we named the "RECOMMED" dataset. In this dataset, in addition to the reviews of users, the patient's age, the type of disease, the patient's gender, and other diseases are also considered.
Our released dataset is composed of three CSV Excel files: DrugRating.csv, DrugInteraction.csv, and DrugEvents.csv. Patient characteristics (age, gender, condition, and other drugs) as well as drug features (drug name, drug category, effectiveness, and side effect) are included in the DrugRating.csv dataset.This dataset contains 3294 samples. In each sample, a rating and opinion given by a patient or a caregiver about a drug are recorded. This dataset was extracted from (http://www.druglib.com/).
