Use with BI tools

• Publish to Power BI workspace
  • To Enable, choose a Unity Catalog catalog. Thus it is grey in Shared Catalog
• Similar UI also exist in Table level

Pre-requisite

• License: **Power BI Premium** is required for publishing data to your Power BI workspace.
• You need to have existing PowerBI workspace to be listed by Databricks
  • Databricks cannot create new PowerBI workspace inline.
• Enable XMLA read/write in Microsoft Fabric Admin portal
  • Admin Portal > left bar Premium Per User > Section Dataset workload settings > XMLA Endpoint -> Read Write
  • global keyword search cannot find XMLA keywords
