Getting Started
After receiving the hardware kit, the only thing required to get started should be a computer with a USB A port (or suitable adapter).
Three connections are required to get started. these can be seen in the image below.
- The Teensy communicates with the host computer via the USB connection. This is also how the Teensy is powered.
- The 9V barrel jack power supply powers the MAX98389 amplifier.
- The actuator connects to the amplifier output with the molex connector. Do not connect the actuator to the 5-10V power input molex connector!
