Thanks. This could happen. Let's give it a cool down period in case someone has more ideas. |

OK, nobody added any input. I added this in 4d44264. Thank you! |

I've noticed that windows don't snap to top/bottom (for horiz layout) or left/right (for vertical layout) borders of tiled windows. Is this intentional? |

This is a low priority workflow enhancement idea.
There would be option(s) to have floating windows snap to the borders of other tiled windows, floating windows or workspace borders (preferably taking misc shells/bars into account). Hyprland already has this.
Option suggestions (very similar to Hyprland's options):
snap_window_gap <positive int>: the minimum gap (aka sensitivity) in pixels between window borders to snap. If set to0, windows don't snap to other windows.0by defaultsnap_workspace_gap <positive int>: the minimum gap between the window border and workspace border to snap. If set to0, windows don't snap to workspace borders.0by defaultsnap_respect_gaps_outer <bool>: iftrue, snapping to workspace borders respects thegaps outersetting.falseby defaultsnap_respect_gaps_inner <bool>: iftrue, snapping to window border respects thegaps innersetting.falseby defaultsnap_border_overlap <bool>: iftrue, windows snap in a way so there's only one border's worth of space between them (so their borders overlap).falseby defaultI think this request is not important enough to put it in an issue so it's in a discussion
