Assertj has added support removing need to have other libraries catch exceptions properly. Code coverage is still tricky here but will be monitored until we can get 100% coverage on this usage. As of this commit, unit tests are handled via java 7 only.
… directly third party item left was spring. That is live now so no longer needed. Left a comment for future needs.
