Welcome to ngdevkit's discussions

This is a place for ngdevkit users to reach out and discuss topics which are not strictly bugs.

Things you might want to do here:

• Ask questions about the devkit: how to use it, how the examples ROMs work...
• Ask general questions about programming for the Neo Geo hardware. I'll do my best to answer what I know about it (which most of the time I've learned from https://wiki.neogeodev.org/)
• Help others by sharing your own experience with the Neo Geo hardware or ngdevkit.
• Show-and-tell is welcome for users who want to share what they achieved with the devkit.

Things I kindly ask you to refrain from doing:

• Do not talk about piracy, share original Neo Geo game artwork, discuss closed source tools... this place is not meant to be a general-purpose Neo Geo forum. Let's keep it free and open source.
• Do not expect immediate answers to your questions. This place is on purpose not an IRC or Matrix channel.
• Ask questions to learn about programming. This is a fairly low-level devkit, and it is expected that you understand the C language and its ecosystem.

As a general rule of thumb: be polite, try not to overwhelm anyone, do not harass or discriminate people, and please understand that this is not a full-time project and act accordingly.
