MonkeyType - Typing Speed Test

Description

MonkeyType is a simple script designed to test your typing speed. The program randomly selects words from a predefined list, and the user must type them as quickly as possible. After completing the game, the program displays statistics: average accuracy and average typing speed in words per minute (WPM).

How to Use

Install Python: Ensure you have Python 3 installed. If not, download and install it from the official website.

Run the Script

Download or clone the repository containing this script. Open a terminal and navigate to the directory where the script is located. Run the script using the command:

python monkeytype.py

Play the Game

After running the script, a welcome message and the first word will appear on the screen. Type the word and press Enter. The program will display a new word after each input. To quit the game, type quit.

Statistics

After quitting the game, the program will display your average accuracy and average typing speed.
