• Settings has a new look, matching Sip: tabs as chips across the top, rounded cards with a colored icon on every row, every choice shown as pills instead of menus, and shorter explanations. Every setting works the same as before.

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Unzip and move HODL to Applications.

First launch: the app isn't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS blocks it with "Apple cannot check it for malicious software." Click OK, then open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security, click Open Anyway next to HODL, and enter your password. You only need to do this once. Or run this in Terminal: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/HODL.app

• Only one copy of HODL runs at a time. Opening it again while it's running does nothing, so you never get two moons in the menu bar or two copies changing sleep settings.

• From 10 PM, Stay Awake turns on by itself as soon as an agent is working, until your agents finish and never past 7 AM. Turn it off and it stays off for the rest of the night. Change the time or turn this off in Settings › Awake.
• The line above the switches is one short sentence, and it changes with every switch.
• On battery, if closing the lid would put the Mac to sleep, the panel says so and offers Allow. Click it and enter your password once. Plugged in, nothing is needed.
