Learn about vigilant mode.
  • Lid Pack is now called Quiet Mode. When you close the lid, it dims the screen and keyboard light, mutes sound, and pauses chat apps, then puts them back when you open it.
  • The line above the switches now says what each one does, in order, for example "Stays awake until agents finish. Screen on. Closing the lid dims, mutes, and pauses chat apps. Sounds on."

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel. The app is ad hoc signed, not notarized: unzip, move HODL to Applications, then right-click it and choose Open the first time.
