I've just taken advantage of the nice weather and a quiet time at work to do an overnight trip up to the North of England via the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District with B&B just to the west of Carlisle. This morning saw a cheeky photo stop over the Scottish border at Gretna Green, then following the Hadrian's Wall path and finishing with a lovely ride down through the Pennines.
Here's a basic plot of the route - I've joined them here, but there were 4 files (Day 1+2 Morning+Afternoon) :

Plotted in Garmin BaseCamp, exported to GPX and loaded into Cruiser at the start of the journey: Faultless navigation through 493-miles of rather nice roads and some stunning scenery. With a number of Shaping-Points placed at crucial points, there were only 2 instances where Cruiser thought it could do better(!) A road-closure required me to revert from my preferred theme to the default "Light" one so that I could pick a new course on a suitable road.
A photo montage of the highlights :

Now I just need to find 3-4 clear days (and some decent weather) before "camper-van/silly season" starts so I can do a bit of Scotland!
