1.5.8 — 2026-10-29

Automated release by the daily Craft release refresh (run 40945242370): 13
pins moved on 2026-10-29. Each moved app needs its card and smoke tool
rechecked at the new tag.

  • Pins moved: CADCraft 0.12.0 → 0.14.0, DeckCraft 0.10.0 → 0.12.0, DesignCraft
    0.12.0 → 0.14.0, EffectCraft 0.16.0 → 0.18.0, FigCraft 0.10.0 → 0.12.1,
    FilmCraft 0.12.0 → 0.14.0, GridCraft 0.11.1 → 0.13.0, LightCraft 0.13.0 →
    0.15.0, PdfCraft 0.13.0 → 0.15.0, PhotoCraft 0.15.1 → 0.17.0, SoundCraft
    0.12.1 → 0.14.0, VectorCraft 0.16.0 → 0.18.0, WordCraft 0.10.0 → 0.12.0.
  • Release workflow: the daily runs of October 26 to 29 (40314102671,
40490635202, 40680082986, 40866816860) stopped in the signing step, so no
pin moved and no release was published although all thirteen apps had new
releases. Newer Linux tarballs (CADCraft 0.14.0, PhotoCraft 0.16.0 and
0.17.0, SoundCraft 0.14.0) also ship the bash completion
share/bash-completion/completions/<app>-cli, so "the one member named
<app>-cli" matched two files. extract_cli, which both
scripts/sign_releases.py and setup use, now takes the CLI only at the
archive root, in its top-level folder or in that folder's bin/; two
candidates there are still refused, and the refusal names the archive and
each candidate. Under that rule all 39 latest upstream archives and all 39
pinned ones hold exactly one CLI, the pinned ones the same member as
before, so existing signatures and installs are unaffected.
  • A stopped refresh job now names its refusal (the last line the failing
script wrote) as an error annotation and on the run's summary page instead
    of only "exit code 1".
