A fix that protects your archive.

  • No more emptied ledger files: a ledger or run-log file with no complete line (for example one Google Drive is still syncing, or a damaged one) used to be read as empty and then cut to zero bytes by the next run, losing its history. Lifelog now stops the run with an error naming the file and leaves the file untouched, so you can restore it or move it aside.

Install

Download Lifelog-0.2.1.zip, unzip it and move Lifelog.app to /Applications, replacing the old version. The app is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens with a double-click. Permissions you granted to earlier versions carry over.

Requires macOS 14 or newer.
