Kooo 0.3.0 beta 2
Adds a new macOS-style application icon: a blue rounded tile with a raised keyboard key and opposing switch arrows. The icon is included in the app bundle for Finder, Applications and system dialogs. The menu bar retains its monochrome keyboard symbol.
Download Kooo-0.3.0-beta.2-release-universal.dmg and drag Kooo into Applications. Installation guide.
This release changes artwork and version metadata; switching behavior is unchanged. Requires macOS 13+. Contains Apple Silicon and Intel code; Intel and older macOS runtime support remain unverified.
Ad-hoc signed, not notarized by Apple. First launch may require Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Quit Kooo before replacing the app. Replacing this beta may invalidate Accessibility trust and require removing/re-adding the installed app's permission entry. Do not run it alongside Kooo Local or another Fn switcher.
No statistics code is included in the public executable. No comparative speed or first-character readiness guarantee is made. The DMG is accompanied by a SHA-256 checksum. See the installation guide for permissions, updates and removal.
