Kooo 0.3.0 beta 3
The menu bar icon now matches the Finder app icon: a keyboard keycap with two opposing switch arrows. Finder keeps the blue dimensional artwork; the menu bar uses a crisp 20 × 18 pt vector template that macOS adapts to light/dark backgrounds and highlighted menus. The image is created once at startup.
Download Kooo-0.3.0-beta.3-release-universal.dmg and drag Kooo into Applications. Installation guide.
Requires macOS 13+. Includes Apple Silicon and Intel code; Intel and older macOS runtime support remain unverified. Switching behavior is unchanged. The public executable excludes local statistics code.
Ad-hoc signed, not notarized by Apple. First launch may require Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Quit Kooo before replacing the app. An update may invalidate Accessibility trust and require removing/re-adding the installed app's permission entry. Do not run Kooo alongside Kooo Local or another Fn switcher.
No comparative speed or first-character readiness guarantee is made. The DMG is accompanied by a SHA-256 file. Checks are performed locally; GitHub Actions is not configured.
