IIS Express server for hosted Blazor app fails to launch with custom environment variable

I am getting an error stating Failed to launch adapter in asp.net core hosted blazor application.
I have changed the Environment variable value from Development to "Feature".
The application is not getting started and a blank page is shown in the browser.

@nagtilaklaxman Are you able to start the application under Ctrl + F5?

The debugger relies on an endpoint that is defined within the application server (that's what UseWebAssemblyDebugging is doing). So if you're app server doesn't launch successfully, you won't be able to debug.

It looks like navigating to your app is throwing a 404, do you have the app configured to run on a different route?

Nopes I haven't configured any different route for the application.
I am not able to run application using Ctrl + F5.
I can see the server is launched and running in iis express
