CTR360 is now packaged for the Homebrew App Store, and it creates its settings file on its first start.

New

  • Ready for the Homebrew App Store. Once xenosworks adds CTR360 to the store's catalogue, the store can install and update it in hdd:\apps\ctr360. You still convert your own disc image on a PC with the converter in CTR360-Xbox360-1.0.3.0.zip, then copy assets\ctr-u.bin into that folder.
  • When you start CTR360 from the store, Back + Start returns to the store. Started any other way, it returns to the dashboard as before.
  • ctr360.ini is created from ctr360.example.ini on the first start when it's missing. The release no longer includes ctr360.ini, so updates never overwrite your settings.

Changes

  • The executable now carries a title ID and its version (1.0.3.0), which the store uses to offer updates.
  • The install folder is now apps\ctr360 at the root of the console's hard drive, the drive FTP shows as Hdd1. A folder on USB storage still works.

Downloads

  • CTR360-Xbox360-1.0.3.0.zip: for installing by hand. It holds the disc converter and an apps folder to copy to the root of the console's hard drive. See README.txt.
  • ctr360-1.0.3.0.zip: the package the Homebrew App Store installs. You don't need to download it yourself.

Updating from v1.0.2

Copy the files from apps\ctr360 in CTR360-Xbox360-1.0.3.0.zip over your existing ctr360-xsdk folder. You don't need to convert your disc image again, and your saves and ctr360.ini are kept.

To switch to the store's install instead, install CTR360 from the store, then copy assets\ctr-u.bin and the memcards folder from your old folder into hdd:\apps\ctr360\.

New installation

Download CTR360-Xbox360-1.0.3.0.zip and follow README.txt. You need your own Crash Team Racing (USA, SCUS-94426) disc image as .cue/.bin.
