Why is this set to zero?

When pi pings me to update (which is really frequent), I've thought about those zero-days and wondered if pi had something like this.

As for why 0? My thought would be pi's 'yolo by default'/'bring your own security' approach. If the release is live on npm/github, it would be a little weird if pi update couldn't install it.

It would be great to configure the minimum release age for pi (and pi packages)!
