- Go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons
- Click Install... button
- Navigate to and select the zip file
- Click Install Add-on
- Enable the addon by checking the box next to "Animation: Relative Frame Display"

- Go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons
- Click Install... button
- Navigate to and select the

- Enable the addon by checking the box next to "Animation: Relative Frame Display"
- Download the addon files
- Copy them to your Blender addons folder:

- Windows:
- Restart Blender
- Go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons
- Search for "Relative Frame Display"
- Enable the addon by checking the box
- Via Panel: Open the Animation panel in the 3D viewport sidebar (N key) and click "Show Viewport Display"
- Via Menu: Go to View > Toggle Relative Frame Display in the 3D viewport
The addon displays two lines of text in the bottom-left corner of your 3D viewport:
- Main text: "Relative Frame: X" (white, larger font)
- Secondary text: "Current: Y / Start: Z" (gray, smaller font)
If your timeline starts at frame 100 and you're currently on frame 105:
Relative Frame: 6
Current: 105 / Start: 100
