CORINE Land Cover

CORINE Land Cover (CLC)

The CORINE Land Cover inventory was initiated in 1985 (reference year 1990), updates have been produced in 2000, 2006, 2012, and 2018. It consists of an inventory of land cover in 44 classes. Time series are complemented by change layers which highlights changes in land cover between two reference years.

Each product contains the following layers:

• Initial layer (e.g. clc12)
• Reference layer (e.g. clc18)
• Change layer (e.g. cha18)

There are three products which can be run through the QC Tool:

• CORINE Land Cover 2006-2012
• CORINE Land Cover 2012-2018

Each product consists of a single layer and is uploaded to the QC Tool as a separate delivery.
