Process for adding support for new device

I'm looking at the 4 inch BWRY display, and wondering what the process is for adding support for a new display. Any hints?

The code for this model has been implemented, but it hasn't been tested on the actual device yet. If you could share some photos of how the display updates on the physical unit, it would be a huge help in finalizing the support.
