  • Works offline. Your Library, installed games and Play don't need a connection. If the site can't be reached, the launcher keeps going with what it already has and shows a small Offline tag up top.
  • Faster startup. The game list and release info stay on your PC and freshen up in the background, so the launcher opens straight to your games.
  • Easier on your connection. It checks in a lot less and only looks things up when you open them. A game's releases load when you visit its page or hit Install or Update.
  • Smarter retries. When the site is busy, the launcher waits a bit and tries again on its own, no error popups.
  • Cloud saves catch up. A save that couldn't upload tries again by itself once the site is back.
  • Custom backgrounds show up. A cover or background you set for a game you added yourself now shows on its page and in Big Picture, portable copies too.

Keep the logs coming from the crash window and Settings → Beta. Every one helps.
