TriggerSignalAsync is not working, not even in the sample project Elsa.Sample.SignalingConsole

Hi,

I was trying to implement the signal workflow and after lot of efforts when it was not running I looked into the sample project which is again not invoking the signal activity

Can anyone suggest on this.

I can explain what I did

• Created a class library for WORKFLOWS with activities and Elsa related stuff , here startup contains an extension to build elsa and connection to database, a self contained arrangement
  

• Created a web api project(Custom App) for custom application and called the startup method of class library for setting up elsa

• Created another web api(Elsa2 Dashboard) for Elsa dashboard and called the startup method of class library, additionally called the AddElsaApiEndpoints

• Created a signaled workflow with Elsa2 Dashboard

• Custom App is referencing another class library i.e. Service Layer(added Elsa.Core package), from service layer I am triggering the signal to invoke my workflow

Interesting. That's a lot of setup. To make sure I can repro the problem, would you mind sharing the source code, or at least a stripped down version that reproduces the problem?

With the new packages, this seems to be working but again there are other issues

• Seems like whenever I publish the updated workflow via dashboard, changes are not reflecting until server restart. Could be the cache issue at backend
• Current version of packages i.e rc1.65 not allowing the liquid and javascript expressions on UI
• System breaks if an activity is added more than once in a workflow, this was reproduced only once but not again

I just tried, but couldn't reproduce. There was however an issue with the designer where duplicate activities were being added. If you can still reproduce the packages after updating to 2.0.0-rc1.70 (currently being built) with a clean project then I'd be very curious to hear about it.
