Window layout too big, grows, and retains its size from showing to showing?

I'm using a Window as a modal popup and am noticing the following odd sizing behaviors (see movie--rewind to see very beginning):

1. The first modal is taller than need be. I (perhaps naively) expected Window to shrink to fit like most other containers & Ui itself.
2. The second modal is also taller than need be when first shown.
3. The second modal grows even taller as soon as I move the mouse and a screen update occurs.
4. The third modal (the same as the first modal) now displays at the same huge size as the second modal.

What do I need to do to get the Window to behave like other egui containers and shrink to fit?

How can I convince egui to not remember the size of the second modal Window when displaying the third? Every modal should be laid out "just right", lol, and having shared-state action-at-a-distance like this is... disconcerting.

Ok, changing the name of the Window from "Popup" to a unique name for each of the various modals finesses egui from remembering the size. That's really not intuitive (it would be if windows were "hidden" or "minimized", but dismissed and restored seems a little too magical for a framework that is all about non-persistence-of-vision...

The other two issues (starts too tall, grows even taller" are still with me...
