Buderus Logavent 176-260 supportet?

Hi,

I'm trying to integrate a Buderus Logavent HRV176-260 into Home Assistant and would like to know if anyone has successfully done this using EMS-ESP.

My setup:

• Ventilation unit: Buderus Logavent HRV176-260 (standalone/autark mode)
• Control unit: VC310 (connected via EMS 2 BUS)
• Coding switch set to position 10 (autark/standalone – no heat pump or other Buderus devices in the system)
• No MX300/MX400 communication module

I've read through the installation manual and confirmed that:

• The internal Modbus (terminals X10/X11) is only used between the control board and the fans — not externally accessible
• The only external communication interface is the EMS 2 BUS

My questions:

1. Is the HRV176 recognized by EMS-ESP when operated in standalone mode (coding switch position 10)?
2. Which entities are available — e.g. fan speed/level, temperatures (outdoor, supply, extract, exhaust), bypass status, filter status?
3. Can the fan level be set (write) via EMS-ESP, or is it read-only?
4. Has anyone tested this specific combination (HRV176 + VC310, no heat pump)?

Any experience or pointers to relevant EMS-ESP device definitions would be greatly appreciated!

It is supported in autark mode.
You need to connect the EMS Gateway to the EMS BUS terminal where the display controller is connected as well.

There are a number of entities available. We cannot always predict which ones will be available and which ones are writable.

The similar VENT4000 gives 10 entities.

Thank you for the confirmation! One more question: is the ventilation mode entity writable when the HRV176 is operated in standalone/autark mode (coding switch position 10, only VC310 connected, no heat pump in the system)?
