geomnearest not functioning in QGIS 3.0

I opened a project from QGIS 2.18 in the new QGIS 3.0 and saved it in QGIS 3.0. Installed refFunctions. my old svg symbol rotation geomnearest('Taululinja', 'SUUNTA') does not work anymore, the expression builder tells me that the expression is invalid ( Parser Error: Eval Error: 'QgisInterface' object has no attribute 'legendInterface' ).

@enricofer thanks, if I understand correctly this migration has not been done yet. Please if you have the time, can you explqin to me why the I cannot get the geomnearest function to work in qgis 3 using the plugin? I am totally stuck with a big project which I for other reasons cannot get finnished in qgis 2, and this problem makes it impossibe also to move to qgis 3.
