Version: 1.3.54 on Android 16 (CP1A.260505.005) on a Pixel 9 device.
Starting the discussion since the Bug routing suggests to file bugs only when things used to work, and I cannot confirm that.
This may be related to #4502 and #6193, however I hit a bug that gets the app into a state that requires the app to be closed and relaunched.
A regular "swipe" gesture on the Settings page sometimes results in leaving the app as well, suggesting that the "back" gesture is not overridden when the Settings page is shown, or the "back" gesture both closes the Settings page and bubbles to the gallery page.
Steps to reproduce:
Expected results:
You get to the home page with the photos.
Actual results:
The activity stack is popped, and the user returns to whatever app they had open before switching to Ente Photos. The user can run Ente Photos again, but it starts with the Settings panel open. Back gesture exits the app, thus the user needs to close the app.
Workaround:
Force close the app and run it again.
