Dear all,
we are operating PV system with a Huawei SUN2000-10KTL-M1 inverter and a total of 10 kWh battery (2 x Huawei LUNA2000-5kW-C0). Excess power is fed into the grid.
The SUN2000 is configured without a connection to the internet. We use an old mobile phone with the SolarFusionApp for reading statistics; this old mobile phone also is offline.
Recently, we added a ChargeLine Business Wallbox to our house: https://www.mobilityhouse.com/de_de/chargeline-business-wallbox.html
This wallbox is capable of pure Solar charging or to charge the car with a smart mix of solar energy and energy from the grid,
To enable Solar charging, we would like to set up a system with evcc.
However, there are 2 side-condition that need to be fulfilled, and we are not sure whether/how that is possible.
1.) The wallbox needs to have an internet connection to invoice the charging of a company car through REEV system to the company. This connection can be via WiFi or via an integrated GSM SimCard (available).
2.) We want to avoid to pull a LAN cable from the inverter or nearby to the wallbox. The nverter, wallbox and evcc should communicate via a dedicated WiFi
Is such a configuration with an offline PV inverter, but an online (through GSM) wallbox feasible through WiFi?
I was thinking in such way:
a) Buying an raspberry pi and install evcc
b) Adding Huawei Smart Dongle to the inverter
c) Activate GSM and WiFi options simulatenously on wallbox
d) Configure WiFi on Smart Dongle, raspberry pi and wallbox for its own dedicated WiFi network.
If needed for the dedicated WiFi network - we also have an old Fritzbox 7490 available
Would this give the desired result that evcc tracks the excess power on the inverter and manages power on the wallbox via WiFi while we still can connect to the REEV system through GSM?
Best regards,
Michael
