Git Mapper v1.2.1
What's new:
- stashes get row actions: apply, pop or drop from the right-click menu (pop and drop ask to confirm)
- new fetch button next to the pull/push counters, and remotes are fetched when a repo opens and when the window comes into focus, so ahead/behind speak for the network state
- fixed: the detail-panel photo follows the selected commit instead of lagging behind
- UI refresh: white canvas with soft corner glows, drawn arrows on the sync counters, and the danger confirm dialogs now pass contrast AA
Also new in this release: the release page itself. One installer per platform (Windows .exe, one macOS .dmg for both Apple Silicon and Intel, Linux .AppImage) and the updater feed now uses those same permanent names.
Git Mapper v1.2.0
New
- Check out an individual commit. Right-click any commit, confirm in the dialog, and HEAD detaches onto it: the pill reads HEAD (detached). Double-click a branch pill to get back to a branch.
- Author avatars. An initial beside the username, tinted from the author email. When the author has a gravatar.com photo, the real photo loads on top. Controlled in Settings > Show avatars, and shown in the commit detail header too. One image request per author, session-cached.
Improved
- The hash column and the checkout labels read the short hash
- Faster commit opens: a commit's files are read with one probe and parallel git spawns
- Faster tab focus: the worktree digest's diff read overlaps the status scan
Fixed
- The off state of the settings toggles is visible in light theme
Git Mapper v1.1.2
What changed
- Internal cleanup: the app's bundle identifier is now
com.fajarwz.git-mapperinstead ofcom.fajar.git-mapper - Heads-up: this identifier holds your saved settings (open tabs, theme, diff preferences), so this one update starts fresh — re-open your repositories once and set your theme back; every future update keeps everything

Git Mapper v1.1.1
What changed
- The Windows install is now branded Git Mapper — taskbar, Start menu and the installed-apps list show the real brand instead of the repo name
- Note for this update only: it installs into a new
Git Mapperfolder under AppData; the oldgit-mapperentry stays in your installed-apps list until you uninstall it once

Git Mapper v1.1.0
What changed
- Fixed: the app no longer opens a console window every time it reads git data (most visible on Windows release builds)
- New: tabs you leave inactive for 5 minutes go to sleep to save memory — the tab dims and reloads when you click it
- New: the changed-files cache is capped and cleaned up when you close a tab, so long sessions use less RAM
