Hi everyone! 👋

My name is Direk, and I'm a GSoC 2026 applicant interested in contributing to Feature-engine.

I have experience with Python and machine learning tools like pandas, scikit-learn, seaborn, and matplotlib. I’ve also contributed to open source before, including making pull requests to skore by probabl.ai.

I’ve started exploring the Feature-engine repository and have been looking at issues #898, #904, and #905. I'd be happy to work on these and contribute to the project.
