Because of how this project uses a phone instead of a barebones computer, I feel that it is important to use all of the extra hardware that the phone provides the user. Thank you so much for integrating the phone's camera into Octoprint. However, I think that the next big step for this project would be to create a UI that could display on the screen. After all, so many people in the 3D Printing Community want to add an octoprint-controlled screen, and I think that you have a huge opportunity here to make the android phone an all-in-one and cost-effective solution. I understand that it may be difficult to use the UI because the phone would be mounted somewhere on the printer, and that most people use the MarlinUI anyway, but I think that it is still a HUGE missed opportunity to leave the screen alone. I think that you should partner with OctoDash to display their UI on the android screen.
Thank you so much for developing this brilliant tool, especially in a time where Raspberry Pis are hard to come by.
