Thanks for the suggestion! 🙌 Here's how this works:
If your idea is very specific to your setup, it may not make it into the core integration — I'll try to suggest a workaround in that case. Feel free to discuss details or alternatives below. |

Hi, How does the LilyGO connect to Home Assistant? Does it use ESPHome to expose entities directly? Best regards |

I also would like lilygo support. I also can do some testing. The new beta which also has zendure support: i did not look how it is implemented. But if we could add other batteries with a yaml file which contains the neccesary entities and automation that would be great. I also have an Sessy battery for example. (Typed on phone) |

Hi, This will be added in the next release of Omnibattery: - LilyGo RS485 / ESPHome driver: support for Marstek batteries bridged by the marstek-lilygo-rs485 firmware — telemetry and control go through the ESPHome device's HA entities (the battery's RS485 port is occupied by the ESP32). New brand in the config flow; same register semantics as the direct Modbus driver. I am pushing a new beta today in omnibattery repo (https://github.com/ffunes/omnibattery), however I am going on holidays, so if this doesn't work on the first try, you will need to wait a week before I can do any changes. |

Is there any plan to add a LilyGO integration for the battery? Currently it doesn't retrieve the battery data from the V2. The battery uses RS485 communication, so it might be possible for the LilyGO ESP to read the RS485 data and expose it to the system.
