What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Firstly, I really like the list mode feature. This is only available on Mac, but now I finally get to experience it on Windows, thank you.
Key point: Has the author considered developing versions outside of UWP? I wonder if it's due to the limitations of UWP that the software often gets laggy. Is there any consideration for developing 32-bit or 64-bit versions, which might improve the smoothness a bit? It's just too laggy right now.

Thanks for the feedback, Files isn't a UWP program since v2.5

Files will have better performance with every update. The file browsing slowdowns mostly are coming from Microsoft WinUI/WinAppSDK, others require big code base improvements that will take time. You can see progress here #4180

You can try something that might improve it right now

• Turn off Files settings > Files & folders > Calculate folder sizes to reduce CPU usage
• Try closing Files from the system tray to open Files fresh.
