What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Thank you so much for your feedback! While we could technically display the File Explorer context menu, it wouldn't provide the best experience. For example, menu options like changing the layout, copying, pasting, creating new files, viewing properties, and sorting are all linked to File Explorer and wouldn't have any effect if used in Files. Plus, there are many unique features in the Files context menu that you won't find in File Explorer. If there's a specific feature you're missing, please feel free to open a feature request, and we'll be happy to take a look!

谢谢回复~我其实希望在文件夹操作中，更像macOS的逻辑，将常用功能直接列到一级菜单中。例如在空白处点击右键，菜单第一个选项就是“新建文件夹”。选择任何文件或者文件夹，一级菜单都直接有系统默认解压缩软件（Zip、WinRAR、7-z）的相关操作。选择单个或多个文件，右键菜单都直接有“打开方式”等，以及“发送到”。
目前，我卸载掉Files有两个原因，一是这个版本的菜单太像Win11的新版菜单了，很多常用功能都藏在二级菜单里。二是因为Files的启动速度有点慢。
但我喜欢Files，因为总体上它带给了我macOS那样好用的体验！

Thank you for the reply~ I actually hope that the file operations could follow a logic more similar to macOS, where commonly used functions are directly listed in the primary menu. For example, when right-clicking on an empty space, the first option in the menu should be "New Folder." When selecting any file or folder, the primary menu should directly include operations related to the system's default compression software (like Zip, WinRAR, 7-zip). When selecting one or multiple files, the right-click menu should directly have options like "Open with" and "Send to."
Currently, there are two reasons why I uninstalled Files. First, the menu in this version is too similar to the new Windows 11 menu, where many commonly used functions are hidden in secondary menus. Second, because Files starts up a bit slowly.
But I like Files because, overall, it gives me a great macOS-like experience!

@zbt00123 you can display shell extensions in the main menu via Settings > General > Customize the right click context menu > Move shell extensions into a sub menu.

Second, because Files starts up a bit slowly.

Thank you for your thoughts, you can reduce startup speed by keeping Files open in the background.
