Feature: Sort folders by name and files by date modified

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

I'm using a mid range PC with 13700K/4070S/32GB DDR5 and this app is quite laggy. There is also many frustrations that make me want to stick with Windows 11 File Explorer (regrettably) for now.

1. Takes 1.5 seconds to right click.
2. Takes 2 seconds to change a file name with single click.
3. Has no way relocate columns, making the Tag column especially intrusive)
4. No way to sort Folder by name and files by date modified, it just sorts everything by Date modified.
5. Janky delay when open folders with images.
6. Cannot open directory trees under Drives. I really miss that option.
7. Lag when opening a folder, every single time.
8. Entire window randomly goes about 80% grey. Rare though. Don't know how to reproduce.
9. Zero output when copying/moving files. No progress window at all, makes me doubt I even did anything.

App is looking really good so far, easily beats all the ones I've tried so far. X/Y is super clunky and laggy, crash prone and the others just look terrible out of the box like OneCommander or the other 5 I tried that I can't even remember.

However the lack of features and massive lag makes me want to avoid it for now. Files will be my #1 if the massive performance flaws can be addressed.

If I missed a way something can be done I apologize, but I did look. Its hard to find any assistance for this app because of the generic "Files" app name and it usually just pulls up Google Files.

Made this issue about this. Do you mean in the same folder?
