Snap your snips together, pull the board into place with Magnetise, and export the result as one JPG or PNG.

New controls
- Snap edges: nearby image edges join or align while you move snips. Alignment guides show the join. Hold Shift to move freely, or turn snapping off; the setting is remembered.
- Magnetise: bring all non-archived board snips into a compact arrangement, preserving their sizes and individual editability. Ctrl+Z restores the old layout in one step; Ctrl+Y reapplies it.
- Export image: save the whole active board as JPG (quality 95) or PNG, tightly cropped to the images. Buttons, outlines, guides, the dotted canvas and archives are left out. Zoom and scrolling do not affect the output.
Archive selected is now in the toolbar so the images can meet directly without an action row between them. Tiny images use toolbar Delete, keeping their image area available to move and resize.
Start using it
Close the old Game Scrapbook window, extract the complete ZIP and run GameScrapbook.exe. Check v0.1.8 in the header. The runtime is included, and existing boards, archives and settings carry over.
Choose your capture shortcut in Settings; Ctrl+Alt+S is the default. Select a screen region, then drag the cut-out onto the board. Arrange it manually or click Magnetise, then Export image.
Export includes all board snips, even those outside the scrolled view, while preserving intentional gaps and visible overlap order. It uses your background colour and the displayed snip sizes. Choose a location outside the saved-board folder; the app protects original images and metadata from export overwrites.
Verification
Passed 22 core checks, 29 snapping/packing checks, 22 capture-lifecycle checks, 21 image-export checks and 14 compiled-interface integration cases. Checks include real JPG/PNG encoding, clean image joins, undo/redo, archive behavior, save-failure rollback and export data protection. Verification report and image examples.
The owner confirmed the capture/focus workflow in Nivalis Nights with v0.1.7. The new layout/export features were verified with automated and offscreen Windows checks; physical dragging, the native save dialog and a live v0.1.8 game session remain manual checks.
Unsigned Windows x64 application. Export limits are 32 million output pixels, 32,767 pixels per edge and 64 million unique source-image pixels. Other-game, fullscreen/HDR and background-input limitations remain documented in the README.
The MIT source and runtime notices are included. SHA256SUMS.txt covers both downloadable ZIPs. No CI workflow or job was added.
