Meeting Minutes

• Release Planning & Milestones

  • CDM 6: Scheduled for release on May 1st.
  • CDM 7: Targeted for June 30th, with a strict code freeze starting June 16th.
  • DRR Upgrades: Discussion held regarding the migration of DRR to CDM 6, identifying necessary ingestion functional gaps that must be addressed.

• Technical PR & Issue Review

  • Reviewed work on quantity change conditions and the transition from fee type enums to unscheduled transfer types.
  • Transfer qualification updates and Thomas’s rate change support are moving toward approval.
  • Two solutions for price-quantity change functions: adding more enumerations or implementing direct price-quantity references. The group leaned toward the referencing mechanism for better granularity.
  • The team agreed to prioritize fixing existing model warnings before the next DSL update, as these warnings will eventually transition into breaking errors.

• Process Improvements

  • To clear the "PR Ready" bottleneck, the group agreed that a maintainer must be assigned when an item moves from "approved" to "PR ready."
  • PR owners must personally contact potential maintainers to confirm availability before tagging them. Assignments should ideally leverage the specific expertise of the maintainer.
  • It was agreed to have a separate view for PRs and no commingle with Issues. Proposal to be submitted.

  • Review the price/quantity reference proposal and provide feedback on the proposed referencing mechanisms.
  • Review ingest function updates related to the DRR 7 release once PRs are finalized.
  • Review RoomDSL contributions regarding cardinality and validation warnings to ensure test case coverage.
  • Sync with Alston regarding the "activity date for terminations" issue to decide if resolved or unadjusted dates should be used.

  • Consult with Hugo or Leo to clarify the formal policy for removing deprecated types (specifically whether they are removed after one or two versions).
  • Clarify exactly which deprecated types from which versions are slated for removal in the upcoming cleanup.
  • Request feedback from the group on PR 4511 (cash price condition in quantity changes) and await responses before proceeding.
