[Bug] [iOS] [Authentication] Crash in FIRUser anonymous: unrecognized selector sent to instance

Description

Hi There

After upgrading from firebase v12.1.0 to v13.1.0 we started to notice this crash soon as we call FirebaseUser.IsAnonymous with a non null FirebaseUser.

Reproducing the issue

1. Sign-In anonymous with firebase auth
2. Try to check the signed in firebase user if is anonymous.

I just make a new projeto to clean teste the firebase auth implementation, using the same project setup and woked well.

After while, I figured out that the generated podfile was incorrect, appointing to an old firebase version

Haven't figured out what in the project is causing this. Seem a non-firebase sdk issue but I will track down more before closing this issue.

Hi @tpg-vhnunes, thanks for sharing this with us. I tried setting up a test project using a more recent version of the Unity SDK (v13.2.0), and I didn't encounter any similar crash. Could you also confirm if the issue persists after updating both your SDK and External Dependency Manager to the latest available version(s)?

Hey @niccolo-hare,I can confirm that we have a problem on our side. Was a post processor build that forced the pod versions to v10.x, since there was a bug in one of this major versions that required us to forced downgrade in the past just for iOS and we never revisited this change after firebase updates.

Now using Unity SDK to v13.2.0, latest External Dependency Manager and without our custom pod change build processor, everything seems to be just fine \o

I will now close this issue, thanks for the support anyway
