Implemented the possibility to explicitly pass the number of fit parameters that is expected in the function to be fitted via the optional parameter
n_parmsfor the functionsfits.least_squaresandfits.total_least_squares.This addresses #268, where I assume that a single parameter should be sufficient for all use cases.
I have also fixed a few small typos in the docstrings of the two functions.
