How to change language for Firefox extension?

Go to settings (or about:preferences)

Then choose your preferred language for displaying pages.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work in Firefox or Waterfox. Even though I have "English (US)" selected under Settings > Language, the Floccus extension keeps using Russian.

There are two settings for language: One is the language used to display menus, messages and notifications from Firefox, the other is the language for displaying pages. Floccus uses the second one.

Curious why you would want floccus in english when your web pages are in russian. Is the russian translation for floccus not good?

To be honest, I always prefer an English interface in app menus. The assumption that if a user views pages in their native language, they must want that language everywhere is flawed. Users want the freedom to choose and customize the settings to fit their needs.
