Link commands to a session

I would like to add some commands to my sessions

lua require('smear_cursor').enabled = false
or
setlocal spelllang=en

I am able to locate the session file and add it.
These commands work when I open the session the first time, but when I open the session again they are not active anymore and they are deleted from the sessions file.

Is there a way to pin the commands in the sessions file, or keep them somehow?
