Already on 2.0.0-beta.5 or newer? Open BubbleFacts, click Update now, then Install now between songs. Your settings are kept. On a Mac, click Always Allow when it asks to use your saved sign-in afterward.

Fixes, most of them found on real streams. After updating, right-click the BubbleFacts source in OBS and choose Refresh.

Improved

• Classical pieces such as Beethoven's Minuet in G keep their own article, instead of a list of other composers' minuets (#259).
• Artists written with symbols, such as P!nk and Ke$ha, find their songs' articles (#250).

Fixed

• Some true facts were dropped: a song title starting with "My" or "We", a date written "3 and 5 June", a title with "After" in it, or connective words that are part of a title (#217, #194).
• Changing the artist of a request that isn't on your list, mid-song, now writes new facts (#216).
• StreamElements could check for songs twice at once (#215).
• Settings accepts ports up to 65535, and About opens once (#212, #213).
• With fact checking turned off, the AI is no longer told to expect an article it won't get (#218).
• The command-line setup starts with a Groq or Anthropic key, or with StreamElements (#253).
• The docs and website match the app again: model sizes, where the token box is, and when the app checks for updates (#254).

Security

• A test tool the project uses (handlebars) was updated for a published advisory. It isn't part of the app you install (#222).

Known issues

• Some facts are still wrong or misleading, more often for less-known songs. Press Wrong, or set up Hands-free Wrong, to take one off your stream. See #36.
