Fullbleed 2.5.39: correct previews for PDF templates
Native previews now preserve the correct glyphs when a PDF template and its overlay embed different subsets of the same font family. The fix also covers independently merged pages and synthetic-bold text. In the retained regressions, saved PDFs were correct while PNG previews omitted or substituted characters.
Install Python with python -m pip install fullbleed==2.5.39 or pin Rust with fullbleed = "=2.5.39".
Validation includes 10 focused regressions, 769 Python tests, 1,404 native tests, and 11 documentation tests. Public 2.5.38 reproduces six failing cases; the corrected candidate passes all ten. Independent inspection covers 39 PDFs, with all 38 focused PDF byte streams unchanged by this preview fix. Windows and Linux regression artifacts match the local candidate.
All 16 public Python distributions match the qualified release artifacts. Fresh public Python checks reproduce the regression outputs and the downloadable certificate project's six edited/default pages. A fresh public Rust consumer reproduces 43 reviewed preview pages.
The unchanged 1,662-case CSS corpus retains 1,620 PASS, 24 FAIL, and 18 REFERENCE-DISPUTED. All fixture verdicts and raster hashes match 2.5.38; its all-pass gate remains failed. The attached evidence retains both baseline and candidate results.
No new runtime dependency or public API is introduced. The component API remains alpha. This release does not establish general raster parity, performance improvement, or standards conformance; dedicated PDF/VT validation remains unavailable.
