Fullbleed 2.5.43: radial final-stop colors
Fullbleed 2.5.43 preserves the final color outside radial gradients whose final stops coincide. For example, when a gradient ends with gold 100%, blue 100%, the area outside the ending shape now continues blue. The correction also applies to separately emitted opacity masks.
Install Python with python -m pip install fullbleed==2.5.43 or pin Rust with fullbleed = "=2.5.43".
All twelve endpoint fixtures pass on Windows, Linux and the tagged release. Qualification also passed 821 Python tests, 1,419 native tests and 11 documentation tests. The retained public 2.5.42 negative control reproduces nine failing endpoint cases and three passing controls.
The nine affected specimens show the corrected outer colors in both native and PDFium previews at 72, 144 and 300 DPI. The three controls retain identical PDFs and previews. Sampled function colors are preserved, and measured interior differences are at most one RGB level.
All 16 public Python distributions match the tagged workflow artifacts. Fresh PyPI and crates.io consumers reproduce the twelve reviewed documents and their previews.
The 1,662-case CSS corpus retains 1,624 PASS, 20 FAIL and 18 REFERENCE-DISPUTED, with identical verdicts and raster hashes. Its all-pass gate remains failed; the full report is included below.
This release resolves the reviewed radial final-stop issue. Existing border-image comparison failures remain. Component authoring remains alpha. These checks establish specific regressions; general CSS parity and complete standards conformance remain unproven. Dedicated PDF/VT validation remains unavailable.
