Fullbleed 2.5.51 makes the invoice and statement starters runnable with editable sample data. They previously printed template placeholders; they now calculate amounts, embed Inter, and write PDFs, PNG previews and run reports.
python -m pip install fullbleed==2.5.51
python -m fullbleed new local invoice my-invoice
python my-invoice/report.pyEdit my-invoice/data.json for company, customer and line items; edit its HTML/CSS templates for design. Use new local statement my-statement for running balances. Both use Python's standard library, escape inserted text, and document decimal rounding in their generated README. Rust users can pin fullbleed = "=2.5.51".
This release also fixes font-family cascading: a winning concrete font clears an earlier deferred CSS variable, and an invalid winning variable inherits the parent font instead of reviving a losing rule. The original accessible starter now renders with its authored embedded font.
The functional candidate passed 964 Python tests. All 17 applicable final source CI jobs passed. Five starter PDFs and ten previews match byte-for-byte between Linux, Windows and a fresh dependency-free public installation. Thirteen targeted font cases pass; 2.5.50 failed eleven. All 16 public Python distributions match their publication artifacts, and the public Rust archive matches its checksum and tagged source.
The changes are merged into main, with 25 applicable CI jobs passed. Its 1,662-document corpus preserves the prior PDFs and verdicts, including 19 failures and 18 disputed references. That all-pass gate remains failed; this is scoped regression evidence. The initial coastal-menu font baseline failure and reviewed correction are included in the verification record.
Components remain alpha. The accessible starter retains its verbose layout, wide fieldset and six typography warnings; internal authoring checks are not independent PDF/UA certification. See the release runbook for the exact scope.
