This opt-in Python alpha improves styled component output: explicit font choices take precedence over Bootstrap's variable-based defaults, inline flex items retain their spacing, and paragraph/heading containers honor declared flex/grid layouts. It also includes the inset-shadow corrections from stable 2.5.28.

python -m pip install --pre "fullbleed==2.6.0a3"

The experimental API provides 23 static Bootstrap 5.0.0 component families, reusable styled(...) defaults, literal class_name selectors, named parts, and to_html(include_styles=True/False) for documents and fragments. Components own their structure, so ordinary document authoring does not require HTML strings. Both PDF and HTML exports stay static; no Bootstrap JavaScript is included. HTML hosts provide their own fonts separately from PDF font registration.

Validation includes 926 local Python tests (384 focused), 1,410 native unit tests, 11 doctests, eight embedded-font cases, ten independently measured component layouts, and 52 component inset-shadow checks. Windows and Linux CI artifacts reproduce all 139 compared component PDFs. The 54-fixture SVG suite passes 810 checks. Changed catalog, golden and framework preview pages were reviewed; failed controls and before/after images are retained.

All 15 public wheels and the sdist match the validated release artifacts. A fresh PyPI installation passes package and component checks; the exact downloadable kit passes 29 PDF checks and three executable guide blocks. Ordinary pip resolution still selects stable 2.5.28. Earlier alpha and preview downloads retain their original bytes.

The independent CSS corpus reports 1620 PASS, 24 FAIL and 18 REFERENCE-DISPUTED results across 1,662 cases; its workflow conclusion remains failure. It ran against the same engine source before the final example-PNG refresh; the evidence records both commits and verifies every source-package input is unchanged. Full comparisons and reviews are retained. These bounded checks do not establish complete Bootstrap/browser/CSS parity, accessibility or PDF conformance. Dedicated PDF/VT validation is unconfigured.

The API remains under fullbleed.ui.experimental; HTML authoring uses the Fullbleed package. Independent author feedback, stable API promotion and equivalent APIs in other languages remain separate work. No Rust alpha is published, and Node/.NET pins are unchanged.
