The first release after 2026-05-24.01 will contain a breaking change for Asgard.
You will need to perform factory flash once with one of the pre-releases (or next release). Get the latest (pre) release here: https://github.com/gekkekoe/esphome-ecodan-hp/releases
Here are the instructions from the release notes:
Starting with this release, stand alone web UI and Odin data will be persisted on a separate partition. This requires a new partition table on your Asgard installation. Please use this guide to perform an one time factory flash over USB. You need to do this once and for the next update, you can use the regular OTA. The history will not work if this is not performed. This procedure is only relevant for Asgard installs. Please note that the first boot after the factory flash will take a bit longer as the new partition needs to be 'formatted'.
If you ignore this and apply the OTA, the new stand alone history (7 days instead of 1, long Odin history) will not work. Asgard will complain with a message like this:
If you are compiling from source, you can follow this guide if you don't want to unplug the unit
If you did it correctly, first boot should show:
After this one time upgrade, you can apply the regular OTA again for next releases.
